1. Gould is saying that science and religion cannot be thought of together. Believing what Darwin says abuot evolution and also being a christian and believing what the Bible says about how earth was created isn't possible being how they are completely different.

3. Creationists can't give scientific evidence for their beliefs so it should be considered a religious belief.
1. He is saying that according to religion and the bible God created this world and that the genes evolution is due to him also. According to science though Darwins theory proves opposite to religion. This makes it so that they can't be related.
